I'm in my last year of university and I really should have my career planned out, but since my degree (ancient history) doesn't really take me into anything, except perhaps teaching, which I don't really want to do, I'm not actually too worried about it. Smile [:)]

    Me too. (Depressed.)

I just failed horribly at poetry and am feeling incredibly unconfident in my writing in general. *sigh* Which makes everything take longer, especially my huge homework assignments that I absolutely know will not get good grades, and also I just had more huge realization about how my life sucks at the moment. So, depression it is. Sad [:(]

Re: Describe yourself (or your current mood) in a single word.

Don't let it get to you too much, EL. Remember, you don't have to be the world's most proficient poet to still write things that make people feel happy or make people look at the world in a different way. Even if all you do is write for yourself, if it makes you happy, who cares what the rest of the world thinks? Don't be so hard on yourself. You'll probably do just fine. Just try to study first and then relax. After all, in the big scheme of things, one test isn't that important. My own theory is this: I know myself well enough to know that while I am not good at some things, that doesn't really matter because I am excellent in others. Start lifting your spirits (and this goes for you too, MN) by objectively making a list of all the things that you either know in your heart you are really good at, or else things that you don't care if you are good or not at because they just make you happy. That is an instant pick-me-up. Smile [:)] *Hugs*

Re: Describe yourself (or your current mood) in a single word.

Me, when I'm not good at something, I'll just say to myself or out loud, "I really suck at this." That way, it's me saying it and nobody else. But even if I suck at something (like sports), I just keep on doing it if I like it. All that really counts (to me) is effort and fun.

    Full! (I ate too much.)

Re: Describe yourself (or your current mood) in a single word.

I think of it like; I know I'm good at some things, like languages, and I know I fail at others, like sport. I used to get upset if I liked something but was no good, but now, I just don't care really, if I like something I'll do it anyway, regardless of my lack of talent in it. Similarly, if I'm good at something but don't enjoy it, I won't do it, like maths! Stick out tongue [:P]

    Wow. That's impressive!

SIA?  Ah yes…  that is what they used to call me.  SIA…  SIA The Grey.  That was my name.  I…  am SIA The White.  (lol)  And I come back to you now at the turn of the tide.  (And when SIA says “turn of the tide” he means he ran out of anime to watch on Youtube and Veoh, lol).

LOL.  Saying it like that makes me sound like a deity or something.  Good Job. Yes [Y]  LOL.  *just joking*

Yah, since I beat you in chess I figured I should let you win at something.  *muffled laughter*  LOL.  But if we were using word count; I doubt anyone would surpass my tally.  LOL.  For no one has the ability to take an entire compound sentence and adjective filled paragraph to express a single solitary thought such as I.  LOL.

I think I sort of know how you feel.  All this time I’ve been trying to write another SoA poem (since my first one long ago *warning contains SoA spoilers*) and it is driving me crazy.  LOL.  I found two phrases that I really liked and that actually rhyme (“dragon charmer” and “shattering armor”) and have been trying to wrap an entire SoA poem around it.  LOL.  I often open up my incompleted poem in Word and think to myself, "Alright, this time I will do it!"  And every time I fail a little part of me dies inside.  LOL.

Wow; I’m usually confused by the exact opposite dilemma.  There’s a lot of stuff in the world and less stuff in my head.  LOL.

My word?  Rusty.  LOL.  I think my mind has atrophied; I have been too long amongst the LOL Cats and their irrestibly cute pics and horribly bad grammar.  LOL.

Hey, wait a minute...haven't you forgotten something, SIA? I beat you at chess! Don't try and warp the facts. There are witnesses to prove it too...

Re: Describe yourself (or your current mood) in a single word.

    Aggravated! Super Angry [8o|]

My friend Katlyn and me had this all planned out. We were suppose to leave on Saturday at 5:00AM so we can get to the barn early. She told me that on Friday night she will be going to the fair with a friend. Well, yesterday she came over and asked if her friend can come along...
Now let me tell you this. I'm lucky ENOUGH that my dad allows me to drive Katlyn and me out there (my dad has this rule about me not being allowed to drive anyone but family). So when she asked about her friend coming to see Oak (Oak is her horse, btw) I said no and tried to explain. First, it was asked at the last minute, second (as my dad already pointed out) I can't drive more than two people anywhere and she tried to argue that her friend got permission from her parents that she doesn't mind being driven by me, and third it would be extreamly awkward and aggravating of the fact that it was suppose to be a "her and me type of day," to hang, to catch up and do what we have been planning to do ever since we met, it would be very weird for me to drag her friend out there (who I don't even know) and it would feel like I've been shoved aside, not to sound cruel or jelous, but I'm sure you all get what I'm trying to get at.

So now its 8:11AM, I agreed to not only drive her out there, (which takes ten bucks out of my pocket to pay for the gas I have to use) but ALSO drive her friend home who lives a half-an-hour away from my house.

I wish that at least she mention her friend spending the night a couple days ago or made it apparant of the fact, not last night. So I'm pretty ticked-off, and I can't say that I feel sorry. I don't want to be responsible for a mature eleven-year-old's (no kidding, she is pretty awesome for a person her age and far more mature and nicer than some of immature people at school) friend, as well as MY friend, since I'm the adult. And if I got into an accident I would already feel sorry for one of my freinds, but also be responsible and huting her friend as well...
But now its morning and I'm left here waiting for her to call me back.

IDK, what do you all think? Am I being too cruel or what?

    Happy-but-extremely-tired.

Best weekend I can remember for a while but I'm functioning on 41/2 hours of sleep and two cans of Coke. It was worth it.
