Thanks, G, I'll check it out. I need some direction for that so that it won't be a waste for everyone else to have me on a Kara run.
Got the Cenarion Expedition Honored Plate Leggings today. They're blue, but have item bonuses with multiple pieces, so I'll be starting off with both the hands and legs when I hit 70. Still working that PvP honor so that I'll be able to pick something decent when the time comes...the only problem is, what should that item be, or should I split it to get two or more items. Decisions, decisions! lol

My rule of thumb is usually to replace your lowest item level item- or certainly the one that is hardest to replace by drops. I got the pvp boots for Mora because I never did get a decent foot drop for her.
If you have the rep blue leggings and gloves then look at either the shoulders, chest or head piece. Or think about upgrading your weapons or shield. Sometimes guildies will be snobby about pvp items - but ignore that. The new Spellblade I have on Mora is 10 points better than the one that drops off Prince. Season 2 pvp epix are actually better than most stuff that will drop from Kara. And from experience I have had a few Kara runs which took 3-4 hours a run and nothing useful would drop for me - invest that time in pvp, like I did yesterday, and I got my epic shoulders.
Also take a look at what you can get for the badges of Justice, in both Shattrath and Quel'Danas and think about what you can plan to get to complete your gear that way. You'll be getting lots from Heroics and Kara.

I am soooo loving playing a hunter again in battlegrounds. Hunter is such a fun class, even with all of her greens she still manages to get top dps ratings. I made an honor shopping list for the Season 2 gear and I need something like 135,000 more and a truck-load of medals. Ouchy. I'll get the chestpiece today I reckon and work on the uber crossbow this weekend as I think it's AV weekend. Only 27,000 honor... /cry.
I think enchanting is one of the less lucrative professions unless you are barking your enchants. I used to sell a lot of my mats too - very easy to just get loads of netherweave and turn it into belts, then de it. The expensive part is those darn rods, the 375 one cost me something like 500g.

I'm making lots of heavy netherweave bandages which I plan on handing out before the instance, plus have been doing the fishing dailies to up my buffable foods supply. G, I put a bunch of superior mana oils in the guild bank when I ran out of bag space, which can be accessed by any mana dependent class. I've been using my Greater Blessing of Kings lately, which has brought my healthbar in some cases, when stacked with the +30 stamina buff from the Spicy Crawdads and area bonuses, up to 9700 health. Not a bad little trick!![Smile [:)]](/emoticons/emotion-1.gif)
I don't expect much myself on the first night....getting feet wet and all, but it should end up being a pretty good group once we get the particulars sorted out. ![Wink [;)]](/emoticons/emotion-5.gif)

I wouldn't worry about it too much. Pally gear seems to drop a lot in Kara. I'd just fill the empty gem slots and then see what your score is on be.imba. It looks like 110-ish is the Kara target number. Then look at the elitist jerks article along with Kalaban's loot list to see what you need to fill in. The helm needs a meta gem and a replacement for that white gem you have in there.
http://elitistjerks.com/f31/t10709-healer_meta_gem_selection/
Holy Paladin Guide to Pre-raid Gear
Morteal on be.imba. Basically you want the blue bar to touch or be to the right of the Kara icon.
You might want to take a look at Perlita as an example. Boy finding Holy Pallys is hard. LOL
STA is very important later in Kara when bosses do 8k damage to everyone in the raid with one hit.
Keep in mind that I'm coming at this from a raiding perspective (and so is be.imba) and don't know squat about PvP. So just balance what I'm saying with your PvP goals. I guess what I would do in your case is maybe have a PvP armor set and a raid armor set. But that's just me, Stephenn currently has about 4 sets of armor that he swaps out depending on what he is doing. YAY for Outfitter!

I bought about 175g worth of gems on the AH this morning, changed the enchant on the chestpiece and a new blue healing ring, but it isn't showing up on imba yet. I'm curious to see if it brought me to at least 110.
Like I was telling you before on chat, I completed the daily fishing quest from Old Man Barlo and got a blue socket gem Eye of the Sea after I already laid out the gold for the other socket gems! lol I'm saving it for another piece later on down the road, because I got rid of the cheap red socket on the helm and didn't know the gems were destroyed when you upgraded the socket. The only gem I don't have on the helm now is the meta one, but I couldn't afford one, they're really expensive. I'll keep plugging away at it though! ![Big Smile [:D]](/emoticons/emotion-2.gif)

I'm on my way out to get that. ![Big Smile [:D]](/emoticons/emotion-2.gif)
Got better healing gloves (purple) with some PvP rewards, a new blue healing ring, a new one handed mace (blue) healing spec (which I put Unholy Weapon enchant), a new blue healing spec necklace, new healing spec green shoulders. If that doesn't bring the raiding stats up, don't know what will at this point! lol
Made 5 vials of Greater Wizard Oil and got the enchanting up to 345...hopefully that will help out later on tonight.![Smile [:)]](/emoticons/emotion-1.gif)

Looks like I need to learn how to adjust my stats! lol ![Big Smile [:D]](/emoticons/emotion-2.gif)
I was keeping most of my attention on the tanks and those within my "group", which might account for some of the overheal stats. Since my primary duty was to heal, I was a little hesitant about using the skills that a Holy Pally is best suited for thinking that I might aggro some of the others and pull them into the fight before we were ready to tackle them as a team.
I really enjoyed it, though, and I loved the spookiness of the whole thing. It reminded me a little of The Haunted Mansion in Disney World, with the rooms full of undeads and spirits. I'm looking forward to our runs and clearing out Moroese and Maiden - we'll get them next time! ![Big Smile [:D]](/emoticons/emotion-2.gif)
What do you think of letting me draw a few by using Exorcism and Holy Wrath? My damage stats are pretty good for that, though mana intensive, and I can always pull back to maintain the back up healing. Just keep those refreshment tables up before every room! Those were really sweet...never had those in an instance before!

Well there's always room for improvement, ;-)
Wait until you see the Opera! I think it's the coolest part of the whole tower.
Right now the biggest thing you can do to help is to install the Decursive addon and learn to use it. You and Avshar are the primary decursers for the Maiden fight, so that addon is VERY important to you. If you're on the healing tab, look how many decurses I did. Those were all dispell magics on people who were cursed or dotted by a mob. Unfortunately Priests and Pally's are the only ones who can remove(decurse) the Holy Fire debuff. It does HUGE amounts of damage and that's why it's impoertant to remove it as soon as possible and the heal the person who had it.
Decursive is easy. If an icon turns red, left click it to remove the curse. If it turns blue, right click it. It installs just like any other addon.
Download Decursive 2.1 from Curse.com
Also THIS is the Epic Dolls episode that you MUST listen to. LOL

Just tried, and I got an error message saying that my client can't download files greater than 2 gigs and it suggests Firefox. That's weird because this system is a gaming system...hmm.
Is there a way to get the whole raid party on the screen, and is that what Decursive does? I only had four up plus my own the way it is set up now, and I understand how important it is to have easy targetting for everyone in the raid.

Also you were mentioning that it was difficult to heal players not in your own group. I swear by Healbot Continued, a mod that makes healing a raid VERY easy. Or you may want to have a look at PallyPower. I just looked at your be.imba page, VERY NICE! One problem that is sticking out though, your meta gem isn't working. It requires more red gems than blue gems in all of your equipment. Right now you have 2 of each. If you can stick another red one in there somewhere it'll work.
