    What is your favorite post?

To post in The Cauldron? Or rather, which post do you think is the best or most popular?

I'm sure you can all guess which one is my favorite to post in... Wink [;)]

The one I don't have to correct or worry about reading too much, which incidentally means none. Wink [;)]

Every post that is put up must be read by one of us. This is one of the reasons we sort of frown on necro'ing, as it makes more work for us (though we want people to post even in old threads if they have something new to add). Now, that said, we have loosened up a little bit, simply because we've all been super busy. Since all of us mods and admins are volunteers, we try to make things easy on ourselves whenever possible. However, I think it is safe to say that we all also love it here, otherwise we wouldn't have stayed as long as we have. Smile [:)] I know that is certainly the case for me. In other words, you people aren't getting rid of me anytime soon. Big Smile [:D]

Talk about Sophie’s choice; how is SIA supposed to choose which one of his threads is his favorite?  It would be like asking SIA’s momma which of her four sons does she like the best?  How is she to choose?  LOL.  Hmmm…  but why do I have the feeling that if the question had been "which of her four sons does she like the least?"  That question would have been much easier for her to answer.  LOL.

Oh wait; you mean including non-SIA threads too?  LOL.  Hmmm…  that simplifies things a bit then.

Well, in that case my favorite non-SIA SoA thread would have to be The “Chuck Norris” Character thread.  It is just such an awesomely weird thread.  LOL.  Did you know that at almost every forum message boards there is 98.65% chance that Chuck Norris will eventually be discussed at some point?  LOL.  *just joking*  But it is strange because at both an anime forum and a toy forum that I occasionally visit there are also Chuck Norris threads that incorporate both of the subject matters.  LOL.  So weird.

*ahem*  Now moving on to more important matters…  (lol, just joking)  Which one of SIA’s threads is his favorite?  Why I thought you’d never ask?  LOL.  (Note: SIA is merely being polite and answering a question that had already been asked; blame Mri Niun for asking it.  LOL.  *just joking* )  Well, the best I can do for you is to narrow it down to three. (lol)

    1.  First one is not actually a thread; it is a post.  Yup, SIA’s SoA Knock Knock Joke.  LOL.  Because it is a product of absolute sheer determination.  LOL.  One day out of the blue SIA decided he was going to do a Symphony of Ages Knock Knock Joke and he just…  well, he simply refused to fail at his task.  I was either going to come up with a Knock Knock Joke that not only incorporated SoA, but also lived up to the high (some would say unique, lol) standard of excellence that SIA had set for himself…  or die trying.  LOL.

I like my SoA Knock Knock Joke best because I am almost 100% positive that no other person (who has read SoA) would have come up with that Knock Knock Joke (or even attempted such a thing, lol).  Yup, this post is SIA’s precious little snowflake.  LOL.

    2.  The worst idea ever!!!:  This was just such an experimental thread that incorporated opinionated commentary in such an untested and untried manner and so uniquely SIA, that in honor of the sheer postal courage it took to attempt such a thing at a time so soon after first joining that I never used this technique again.  LOL.

    3.  Is Lord Stephen really a gentleman?:  This was a turning point in SIA’s thread starting career because it was the first time SIA chose to take a scene directly from SoA and look upon it not with the eyes of a rational human being, but instead to focus upon it with the unsteady gaze of glue sniffing monkey happily playing with its own poop (lol) and dared to ask a single SoA question that common sense would have readily answered had he bothered to use some.  LOL.

And due to its moderately successful reply rate, successive threads would incorporate this new radical style of questioning and for a few brief months, the world (basically 7 people, lol) got to glimpse the World of Rhapsody through the unique eyes of SIA.  LOL.

Wow, I cannot believe I read that entire post. I'll never get that time back, SIA; haha. ;)

I didn't comment in any of those threads. Hmmm, that must be saying something. Wink [;)]
