Check out my imbe numbers now!   I went grinding for BG honor today and didn't stop until I got my Merciless Gladiator Lamellar Shoulders, added the gems and got the multiple piece bonus.  I got the Lamellar ones although I should have originally gotten the Ornamented helm, but made a mistake when I redeemed that honor - I'm learning! lol  The red gems activated the meta socket in the helm when I switch out the gloves. I can switch between both pairs of healing ones depending on armor needed, etc. though the drop ones from Attumen are blue socketed and reverse the meta effect.

Should be in much better shape for Wednesday!

Oops!  Have to get the spelling right on that one. 

I do have to get honored with that Violet order sooner or later.  I finished the preliminary quests up to the instance in Auchindon which should help.  I was reading WoW Wiki about the "history" behind Karazhan, and the trinket you get when you complete the first quest chain for the key.  The Chess room sounds like fun too...have you completed that one with Stephenn?

Yes Stephenn has cleared the entire instance (in one night) with the Gypsies, we've pretty much moved on to Zul'Aman but run Kara once in a while for badges.

It's pretty easy to get rep with Violet Eye, just keep running Kara with us and you'll be honored in a run or maybe two. They you can repair in the instance which is handy. I'm not sure if you actually can get the rep rewards if you haven't finished the keying quests first.  It'll be interesting to see how that works.  Did you get any rep with Violet Eye from the run we did last week?

You might want to go into Group Calendar and schedule some instance runs for Shadow Labs, Steam Vaults, the Arcatraz, and then Black Morass. Also Old Hillsbrad if you haven't finished that yet (It's a prereq, for Black Morass). Then people can sign up and plan on helping out that night(s).

This weeks Epic Dolls Podcast #44 is all about Karazhan with in-depth lore coverage and also an emphasis on the Maiden of Virtue fight. (hehehe I love it when they back up my strategy).

I'm Friendly with the Violet Eye, and I noticed around 250 rep for the Spider Boss and between 10 and 15 hp for every elite that went down during the instance.  Lealu mentioned that I can now get rings when I announced the "friendly" ding, so I must be getting it throughout the instance. 

I'm only 155 hp from being revered with The Shattered Sun.  I was too tired last night to continue honor grinding off the island, so I'll get it and a few new items from the Quartermaster when WoW comes up later today.  I need to ask Gram if he can make me the Adamantite rod for my enchanting.  I'm up to 363 and really can't get beyond that without the rod.

That's just about where I am on enchanting too.  It's getting SO expensive just to get one point now.  Oh well.  I did get my tailoring to 375 yesterday woot!

The person who gives the rings stands right outside the main entrance to Karazhan. just to the right of the door as you're going in.  I cant remember her name though. See if she will give you a ring.  The fist one is blue, but they get better with each upgrade you get when you get to the next level of reputation.  The ring for Exalted rocks!

Enchanting is quite a challenge to level - you guys should count yourselves lucky you don't have to go to Uldaman everytime you need to get new skills, which is what we used to have to do in the old days. Not fun.

Mike was fed up with our battlegroup, so we ended up moving to a new server last week; Draenor. It's one of the better ones and has a better horde ratio than our old server where we were very much in the minority. Anyway, Valeriana is now Junipa, the name I'd always wanted for her. I've been having lots of fun pvp'ing with her. My gear is getting very nice. Be imba doesn't like it much because it's not PvE spec. But... I found another site Warcrafter where you can evaluate your gear based on pvp or pve. It also offers the chance to play with your gear in sandbox mode so you can see how different items you may be lusting after will change your stats. A very nifty gizmo.

Junipa's currently 897 and climbing and Mora (now Morrah) is 949.. although that was with her riding crop equipt.

Ooh...they talk about Shadow Priests and how good they are in a raid with paladins!

Got some good ideas there, thanks!   Looks like I was doing the right thing by buffing up my stamina ratings, but they also suggest some other types of gear that I wouldn't have considered.  Good link!

Thanks, G.  I was ecstatic when I saw the healing stats for the raid, and had to explain to the hubby and SIL what it meant.  We definitely need the priests next time, but that report gave me the confidence in knowing that I'm not wasting anyone's time by being there.

Well, I've done about 50 or so fishing dailies (I can tell from my fishing tracker) and still no drop of the hat. Imagine my delight when it dropped for my boyfriend who has done the fishing dailies some 10 times. Anyway... the day after, the weather-beaten fishing hat dropped for me. Now to get me that 2 ring and I can rest easy.

Oh and I fished up Mr Pinchy the other day, but all I got was potions and 2 furious Mr Pinchys. Back to the pools.

Junipa in the meanwhile is getting some great pvp gear, she should be fully epic (excluding trinkets) in a couple of weeks - she's about 75% of the way there now. I'm getting the expensive enchants for each new epic as I go also, so her stats are creeping up nicely. The latest item I got was the Merciless Gladiator's Decapitator which took 27,000 honor, same as the Crossbow I got a couple of weeks ago. It was a hard old grind, but they look awesome. Next I need the gloves, pants and ring... then maybe a necklace... the pvp helmet... another ring...

We joined a social pvp guild also; I'm done with raiding guilds for now, too much drama. The new guild is called < Will drop pants for food > I am very wary of free offers of food now...

Well, last night we decided to form an arena team - so 'Flinch' now exists. It's just the boyfriend and I; him on his druid and me on my hunter. I fully expected to lose all 10 matches but we lost 5 and won 5; which was great. We would have actually won more if a certain druid hadn't left his helmet off for one game (you can't change items once you're in) or when he respecced Feral but left his healing gear on. He's special.

I was also stunned yesterday when I did my fishing daily and the hat dropped again. Luckily I could shard it or it would have only got a couple of gold from vendor as it's BoP.

Well, here is an intro to my newbish mage Magine.  Got her up to 22 and she is starting to collect teleports!   She's fun to play, though the squishy factor is hard to get used to. lol  Without much of a health bar and cloth armor, I can't play like a paladin.
