yeah, I caught Rose and then rewinded it for Hubby!  I hope she does come back.  Did you catch Rose in the episode Donna left her keys for her mom in the bin on the street?  She was an apparition.

    Re: Doctor Who

Ok good, you saw it too.  I thought I might have just imagined the quick flash of Rose on the monitor. I also noticed the container containing the Doctor's hand floating around in the corner of the TARDIS when it took off on its own. Hmmmmm, is Jack involved?

And OH, Can't wait for next week!

This may be harkening back to the OLD OLD OLD Doctor, played by William Hartnel back in the sixties.  His companion was his grand daughter.  But they forgot about that storyline a LONG time ago.  So if he has a grand daughter then having a daughter makes sense.  I guess she somehow escaped the Time war.  Of course I could be completely wrong.

Couldn't he have...erm...planted his seed along his journeys after the time war?  Maybe he wasn't as...stoic...in those days.

    Re: Doctor Who

I can't wait for next week's either. I missed the Doctor's hand on the ship, but who caught the reference to another episode when they were all wearing gas masks? The Doctor asked the general, "Are you my mommy?" LOL

Yeah, caught that.  I like when they link stuff together like that.

Yep, or at the very least, an addition to the show. I wondered why she didn't regenerate. Anyway, at some point the Doctor has got to find out she's alive! Good episode!

    Re: Doctor Who

I seem to remember that regeneration was a talent granted by the time lord council.  Or something like that.

    Re: Doctor Who

I wondered if it had something to do with everything that the Doctor explained in the episode about what happened with the Master. Perhaps because she didn't look into that...I don't remember what it was called, but that light thing that made the Master go crazy. Also, maybe because she was so young? I mean, officially, she was just born.

Interesting about the Doctor having been a father before. Maybe Donna will be the one to get him to open up about himself more. I really like her character, much more than I liked her when we first met her in that Christmas episode.

    Re: Doctor Who

Since she is a time lord, when the Face of Beau said "you are not alone", and we thought it was the master he was talking about, maybe it was her, too!

    Re: Doctor Who

Must have been, WB! I bet they've had at least vague plans for the Doctor to have some family for a while now.

Interestingly, the actress who played Jenny, is Peter Davison's (The 5th Doctor) daughter.

    Re: Doctor Who

Oh he'll rescue her somehow.  I'm just wondering who the woman who claims to know him in the future is.  With a sonic screwdriver no less.  She said he was still very young then. Hmmmmm he's coming to the end of his regenerations so he must have found a way around that. Or the show's creators are ignoring that aspect of the old show.

    Re: Doctor Who

I'll betcha it's his future wife...You don't just give a sonic screwdriver to any old love!  And she was very intent on abiding by his rule about not letting him see the book and her not spilling the beans.  As if she has a lot invested in their future.

    Re: Doctor Who

I was thinking more like the watch thing. Remember how he told Martha to be absolutely sure it was protected. Anyway, I was wondering if she was also a Time Lord. He must get much older looking since she said he looked so young. Hmmm...I'm just really glad that it isn't the season finale! Sleep [|-)] When I saw that it was a continuation, I was afraid that I had missed hearing that the season was over.
