Wow, thanks Rhapsody4288! Much appreciated! I like doing this, and now that I finished The Assassin King I was thinking about doing one for The Lost Journals of Ven Polypheme.

Although I do want to add additional information to some things, like what role some of the people play in the SOA series beside just his/her name and who he is. If you see any mistakes in grammar, feel free to point it out to me because I tend to miss a few things here or there.

Yeah V, I did take it down. One big reason was because I didn't feel like working on a Ven because the books aren't as widespread and as deep as the SOA series. There aren't as many definitions but why make a guide when the books are smaller and easier to remmember than the SOA series?

If anybody else wants to make a Ven dictionary, feel free to do so. Maybe once the SOA series is finished, and there are more Ven books, maybe ill make a Dictionary than. But for now, I think one dictionary is enough for me to work on.

This is slightly off topic, but I believe it was being discussed a while ago that we didn't know who the Gwenen were. I had always the impression that they were related to the Lirin, but I couldn't remember why. However, I found a reference to them in Prophecy that I don't believe was brought up:
"Humans just don't appreciate it. Even the Gwenen and Lirin of the wood couldn't make it."

Did it mention in one of the books that Achmed had a "Rainbow dagger," of some kind that only he and Grunthor knew of? Something that he had back on Serendair? Don't know what book it was mentioned in...

Unfortunately I haven't received my hardcover copy of Destiny yet from Amazon.com (it was delayed, and accidentally shipped to the wrong address!) so now I have to wait and see if the people who received it instead ship it back to the original seller, than wait for them to ship the book to me again.

*Sighs*

There are also some references or different words for some of the "Stages of Yarim's Entudenin," that I want to add in from Requiem for the Sun, just to be safe.

I tried finding the reference to the rainbow dagger, but it wasn't in the part when Achmed opens the vial of the F'dor spawns blood in the hand. I suspect it might be in Requiem for the Sun... Ill have to double check it. I added in some terms from the Guido Scale.

Okay, found it. I kind of led you astray there but once I explain you will see it is an understandable mistake. Rainbow dagger reference: Destiny chapter 26, pp. 210 (my copy of hardcover): "He carried no weapons but the cwellan and a concealed skinning knife that only Grunthor knew about. It had a dark, rainbow-black steel blade, and was a parting gift from the old world." In the chapter where Achmed is in the Hand, it mentions that he reaches for his skinning knife. Since it was already mentioned before, I immediately associated the two passages and got them mixed up, thinking the description was in that section. It took me a minute to find it, but I was absolutely certain that it was in Destiny.

Ah, sounds like it could be an obsidian blade, which was (if I remember correctly) what Tsoltan's "palace" was made of.  Considering that obsidian is formed from volcanic activity...might have been a "gift" from Achmed's old "buddy". 

I still wonder if some dragon scales were made of this material...
