    Re: Doctor Who

It's a big season finale tonight, I don't even watch the show, but it's been all over the news today. Is a new Doctor on the way in...? Nobody knows, methinks the BBC are building up their potential viewing figures.

Don't worry, I won't spoil it for you if I do watch it. Wink [;)]

    Re: Doctor Who

GRUNTHOR! Great...now I'm just dying to know. Crying [:'(] Will I survive until it airs? I just cannot say...

But the previews for next week..O-M-G! I am so completely stoked! I cannot wait to see it! Do you think we'll have a new doctor? But I love David Tennant! I don't wanna new Doctor! Losing Christopher Eccleston was traumatic enough. But Rose and Donna together will be fun, fun, fun! It'd be cool if Martha joined in too!

Is it just me, or does Friday seem very far away?

    Re: Doctor Who

That was certainly an interesting episode.  No Doctor at all basically, just Rose and Donna.

Did you see the preview of part one of the finale? Rose, Martha, Donna, and Torchwood!

    Re: Doctor Who

Yeah, that last episode was an interesting one. I wonder what the deal is with Donna. She must be pretty special. Funny thing is, when she came back, I thought almost the exact same thing the Doctor said, out of the whole wide universe, he met her twice by chance? Seemed odd. It was pretty cool though, seeing how things would have been so very different if she'd have made that wrong turn. Martha, Sarah, plus so many others, all gone.

Woot!! The gang all together! I'm pretty excited!!

    Re: Doctor Who (SPOILERS)

OK, so here in the US we've just seen the first half of the series finale. WOW!

The return of Davros and the Doctor regenerating at the end!! Not to mention Rose, Martha, Donna, Jack, Gwen, Yanto, Sarah Jane, UNIT, Torchwood and the Daleks! What's not to love?

    Re: Doctor Who (SPOILERS)

Oh wow... no more Donna? I want to cry. I really had grown to love her character. And OMG! Rose gets the Doctor after all! A bitter sweet ending for her, anyway.

I just felt so bad for the Doctor at the end. All alone, and Donna doesn't remember him at all, plus he'll never see Rose again. Crying [:'(] Somehow, they just have to figure a way to bring Donna back, even for just an episode or something. It was cool to see the whole gang working together. I loved K-9 (that's the dog's name, isn't it?) too. Has there been any word on who the new companion will be? I haven't seen anything, but I haven't looked at much DW related stuff (so I wouldn't stumble into spoilers for the last episode).

    Re: Doctor Who (SPOILERS)

Poor Doctor alone again.  I was happy that Rose got a Doctor, but I don't know how I could do that knowing the "real" one I loved is out their...I would have really liked to see a Doctor Donna, but then I guess the whole Doctor Who and silly companion would go out the window...

    Re: Doctor Who (SPOILERS)

A new Dr. Who actor in 2010!  2009 will be a shorter season Sad [:(]

Here is more and a pic...IMHO...he's too young to be Dr. Who, but he doe look like a younger version of Tennant.

    Re: Doctor Who (SPOILERS)

Well, the Dr's have been getting younger - perhaps in a few season's times he'll be bouncing about the Tardis in nappies? Brave to go with such an unknown really.

    Re: Doctor Who (SPOILERS)

I don't know if I'll be able to take him seriously...not that any of them have been serious...but, looking so young and having such vast knowledge is an odd juxtaposition.

    Re: Doctor Who (SPOILERS)

I'm trying to get over the trauma of David leaving. Crying [:'(] I'll still watch it, but it won't be the same. Of course, I felt the same way when Chris left the show too, and wound up loving David as the Doctor, so I guess I'll give the new guy a chance. Wink [;)]

Anyway, when does the season start here in the US? I thought there was a Christmas special coming out. I don't remember it saying anything about it in that article.
