So, simply the question above (yeah, this is another one of those silly threads, like who YOU want for president, ect...). Who would you marry from The Symphony of Ages or The Lost Journals of Ven Polypheme? Give information on why, what you like about that person and what place in ether series would you go to for your Honey Moon?

Seriously, I would ether pick Anborn or King Vandemere. Maybe even Achmed, but that might be a stretch... Anborn I like a lot, but that might be too much, seeing as that he is a lot older than me. But he is pretty cool, the smart, open-minded general, hero from the series. With nice, long black hair and a sexy roughness about him!

*coughs, lets keep this thread appropriate, btw.*

King Vandemere would be more my type. Seems very smarty, young, has a good head about him and likes solving puzzles.

Achmed, well, Achmed is Achmed. And that is cool! Although with his attitude and everything, I can see us getting a divorcé pretty quick!

Honey Moon? How about adventuring across the Wide Meadows to Sagia?

Meridion!  (If he would have me, that is.  I don't know what his preference would be for hairy, bolgy types. lol)

Why?  How cool would it be to have as your spouse someone who could move in and out of time?  And maybe, with a little love and training, enable you to travel along with him, as a companion, extra pair of eyes, secret keeper and working together on something worthwhile?  Even Santa needed a Mrs to make him completely happy...I would guess the same is true for those Time Editors as well!

Without thinking about this at all, just seeing the title, I immaediately thought "Stephen Navarne!" for obvious reasons really, he's just so lovely!
I also agree on the Anborn idea, I think he'd be fun to be married to. Edwyn might be quite a chuckle too.
Nobody in the SoA is really in my age bracket though, I guess I'm closest in age to Gwydion Navarne, but he's a little young for me.

Ooo…  I think SIA will definitely have to remain a bachelor on this one.  Yah, that way as soon as Ashe kicks the bucket I will be ready to make my move.  LOL.  

And it is not like SIA is afraid of commitment or anything.  In fact just to prove that I am perfectly capable of getting hitched (and while I am patiently waiting for Ashe to croak, lol), SIA would like to formally announce his engagement to the Earthchild.  LOL.  Yup, and we will be officially tying the knot…  just as soon as she wakes up.  Hehe.

The reception would be the shortest ever. :D

This may be extremely hard for me...

For SOA, the first person who comes to mind is Stephen, of course! Why? Because he never says a bad word about anyone, he's a true gentleman, and he is a loving father.
Second on the list would be Gwydion, his son. He's about my age, maybe a year or two younger, and he's the quiet type, like me. But he's also very smart and I bet he's lovely.
Third would be Ashe, purely because I have a habit of falling for characters in stories who love someone else unconditionally. He's perfect.

For all of the above, I would marry them during that Winter celebration at Stephen's keep. That would be so pretty and fun!

From Lost Journals, I would have to say either Ven himself, because he's gorgeous, and funny, and just a bit younger than me. Or King Vandemere. Vandemere just reminds me so much of Stephen it's not funny. The only difference is that we really get to see how much of a thinker Vandemere is, and how smart his is too. Unfortunately, we haven't really been able to see his completely sensitive side (yet).

For both Ven and Vandemere, I'd marry them in ALL of the different Kingdoms, so that we can see every bit of magic there is on the island!

Oh no. I have no idea. This thread is amazing and hilarous It is absolutely impossible for me to choose between all the male characters although I think it'd be Gwydion/Ashe before he became all dragon-y and boring. And I would marry him on that lovely island that I forgot the name of...um, the sea-mage island. Because it's wonderful.

Ooo…  IMO marrying a person who can see into the future is a bad idea.  LOL.  You’ll never really know for sure if he actually remembered your wedding anniversary or if he just peeked into the future and saw you yelling at him for forgetting about your wedding anniversary and subsequently made a quick trip to Wal-mart to buy you some off the rack novelty items to commemorate the special occasion.  LOL.
 
Of course, the fact that he can find out what the winning numbers are in next month’s Lotto more than makes up for his chronic absentmindedness and lack of sentimentality.  LOL.

Dumb Stephen of Navarne; he just makes it tougher for the rest of us regular guys.  LOL.  *just joking*  (BTW since SIA has almost no recollection of SoA anymore (lol), he used TDASAK to find out how to spell Navarne, except in the guide his first name is spelled Stephenie.)

*whispers*  IMO Achmed’s love for Rhapsody is more unconditional.  IMO Ashe’s love for Rhapsody has one condition…  himself.  LOL.  Whereas Achmed would be fine with Rhapsody being with someone else as long as she’s happy, I doubt the same can be said for Ashe.

This thread will live!... even if I'm not a wedding fan. So, I suppose I'll marry Achmed but... I suppose Grunthor would be a better husband... That's a difficult decision.

Ooh tough one..
Ashe is perhaps a little too sensitive for my liking, I can't handle men crying at all and I think Ashe is a cryer (I can't remember for sure). Plus  I reckon I'd have one hell of a job tearing him away from Rhapsody. lol I'd keep him for a saucy affair instead.
Thinking about it sensibly, Anborn is tough, has a good eye for horses and is a man of action. Yes, I think Anborn would have to be the man for me.
If I was choosing a woman, then it would have to be Esten all the way.
