    Horde Brags

Dinged 27 yesterday on Raksha.  Haven't played her in so long that other players who were at my level the last time I played are in their upper 50s.

Thousand Needles is a good place to level at 27.  Been doing quests around there and Raksha dinged 31 last night.  Also tried Razorfen Kraul instance, being a priest in a pick up group sucks.

    Re: Horde Brags

I haven't played Esten in forever and a day! I'm so busy trying to get Cantha up (when I have time to play at all now) that I have been neglecting the poor thing. To tell you the truth, I think I'm going to be redoing my Horde char. I just do not like playing my Tauren. Maybe a Troll, Orc, or heck even a Blood Elf. I like the stories on the Tauren though. The whole Native American feel really appeals to me. The Orc are like that too, so that may be who I decide to go with.

    But grats to you, WoWgal!

    Re: Horde Brags

I made a Blood Elf Paladin as a my alternate for The Ravens Guild, and got her to a 10 already.  The pally choices are different than in my dwarf pally, but are still pretty strong.  At least I have a few ranged attacks for mana "channeling".  She should be a good addition to the Guild.

Being any kind of healer in a pug sucks. Druids and Shamans are often shouted at to heal even if that isn't their talent build.  Also in battlegrounds; one of the reasons very few of our healing class guildies ever go in is the plethora of tanking ejuts shouting 'ffs n00b, heal me now!'

    Re: Horde Brags

Well, less of a brag - more of a change. We decided to finally start a Horde guild as our alliance one is slowly disintergrating. I have the dubious honour of being GM - and we are slowly starting to build the guild. God help us. Big Smile [:D]

So I guess my main is now Mora, my belf mage. She's up to lvl 27 now and she should be 30 ish on the weekend.

    Re: Horde Brags

Harassed Mike into helping me with a red quest (with his level 50 Tauren dr00d) because the reward was too good to resist; Inferno Robe  nothing like an uber level 40 item when you are only level 29.. 30 now. Party!!! [<:o)]

Also got tailoring, enchanting and cooking up to decent levels. Fun fun. Big Smile [:D]

Not terribly exciting really, but it does the trick. Some very nice fire ball crits today. Big Smile [:D]

    Re: Horde Brags

I just picked up the quest today (I found the wanted poster when turning in Battle of Hillsbrad part 1). I'm lvl 22 so it's red for me now. I'm still wearing the nice black and orange robe that I bought from the quartermaster in Tranquillien. It's one of those things that you have to have rep for. But rep with Tranquillien is pretty easy.

    Re: Horde Brags

Yep, you pretty much just do the quests and end up with loads of rep, I think I was revered by the end. The quest is a level 40 one - so it'll stay red for a long time. It was well worth getting though. Well, for a fire mage it is anyhow.

We did our first proper guild instance today (Razorfen Kraul) and it was rather funny. The tank had terrible lag, he and the shammy kept hitting my sheep, there was confusion over what to need and greed for and they kept forgeting to wait for me to drink to get my mana up. I remember our first few runs on alliance being like that though; after a few times we were like a well oiled machine. And despite the teething problems - we didn't wipe once, which is pretty darn good. Big Smile [:D]

    Re: Horde Brags

I expect it'd be a good robe for a Warlock as well. We have LOTS of fire spells too.  Although I shadow damage robe would be better I guess.

First time I ran RFK I think we wiped at the guy on the bone pile. Then we recovered and kicked his butt.

    Re: Horde Brags

Might be worth getting for you then. I've never played a 'lock past level 6 so I have no idea how the talent tree works.

Had a little run into SM graveyard yesterday, did pretty well and got nice xp for doing rather little. The guild is really levelling up quickly too which is nice... mounts on the Horizon. Big Smile [:D] And I already have 100g, which is pretty darn good for my level. It's not even purloined from my alts because well, all my money was on my ally hunter, although as copper prices are currently ridiculous I have done a couple of mining runs on Phlox. Thank heavens for gatherer.

    Re: Horde Brags

Did another run in SM - I feel like I am living in that place now. We did the library this time and I got some very nice blue drops.

Finished one mage quest and got a very nice fire wand and did another that involved killing a level 40 elite with two guildies - all at about level 36. We rock. Big Smile [:D] I headed back to the quest giver in the hope of more l33t loot and was instead given an orange follow on quest for Uldaman. I also need to go there for artisan enchanting apparently... although by the time I progress that much with enchanting I'll be level 70. Crying [:'(]

Nearly level 40 - I should have that silly chicken mount on the weekend. Smile [:)]
