It's not coming out anytime soon. However, you can see concept art, devlogs, press releases, and the latest news here.  You can also sign up to get e-mail updates. It would be great if they could release it around the same time as the new movie, but I've heard release dates thrown around like 2009-ish.

Haha.  I read your Star Trek (2008) post before reading this one, so that made me laugh.  But what color is the Yeoman's uniform?  Personally, I never did care for the TNG uniforms; I preferred the red uniforms that Kirk wore in the later movies.

But I wonder if this game will be successful?  I was kind of stunned that noboby liked Star Wars Galaxies; I thought a Star Wars MMORPH was the closest thing you could get to a sure bet.  However, I do think that Star Trek fans (Trekkies or Trekkers) are more die hard than Star Wars fans (cool people). They've updated the website with game play footage.  It looks pretty cool. Supposedly it takes place 30 years AFTER the last Star Trek movie (Not the prequel they are working on now).
