Yeah! Just got The Dragon's Lair from Books-A-Million! Can't wait to start reading. I don't know if I should drop Shon-jir of The Faded Sun trilogy by C.J.Cherryh because I already read it and just read TDL.

So who else has it? Or is reading it?

Got it delivered in the mail early this afternoon...already on page 124!   "Ida" has been bugging me every hour or so: "Finished with it yet, Mom?"

I'm really liking it alot!

I'm getting it from Amazon.com. I got an email that says it's been shipped, but I haven't got it yet. It may come today though, for all I know. I just have to wait patiently. Man, I thought it was coming out later in July; I guess I wouldn't have time to re-read the first two.

Finished it this morning, including all the reader's guide questions (just to bug "Ida" back a bit ), and I have to say that I really enjoyed it.  As soon as I turned the last page and closed the cover, Ida said "Thanks Mom!" and ran off skipping with it in her hands to her own reading lair.  She has been waiting for this one for a while...

Holy crow Krinsel! Your already done with it? I'm stunned. I'm getting pretty far in it, but still taking my sweet time so I don't rush through it and than start waiting for The Water Tree, which is the next LJOVP book, if I'm not mistaken. I also just got Legends II, which I will drop the Ven Polypheme book to stall the reading and read Threshold, (finally!) so I can brush-up on some more lost SOA history!

When an impatient just about teenager asks you every five minutes while you're reading if  "are you done yet?", it kind of put the pressure on!  lol   I like to savor my books too, but I had to let her have it or she would have been driving me crazy!

I did enjoy it, but I'll probably take a more leisurely read once it goes around the house to everyone who wants to read it.  I might start reading The Floating Island with my 9 year old to get her into finishing a book once she's started it.
