    The Hobbit Movie?!

After the loonnggg wait after The Return of the King, and hearing many, many rumors of Peter Jackson making the movie, than saying that there won't be a movie, ect... now their is more news from a site I recently stumbled upon that claims that Peter Jackson is actually making a movie that will be released in theaters, possible, in 2011/2012.

Heres the link to the site:

Is this real? Is Peter Jackson really making The Hobbit into a movie?! IDK, its kinda-of hard for me to believe at first. I recently got the chance to re-watch The Hobbit animation from 1977 that is such a treasure!

I always imagined Gandalf as he is portrayed in this move and The Return of the King besides Peter Jackson's movies. So what do you all think? The site also mentions that there might be two movies...

"He'll (Guillermo Del Toro )spend much of the next half-decade in New Zealand, working on the prequel to the Lord of the Rings trilogy with producer Peter Jackson, which almost certainly won't have to explain its box office performance to anyone. "

The link on the IMBD site has this article.

Having not found a suitable writer for the Hobbit, Peter Jackson and Co will be penning it themselves.
