I got my books from Amazon - yea!!! - and I was wondering about this character on the very first page by this name in Rhapsody where it says that he "sat down at the time editor". Is this the same person?

The person in the beginning of Rhapsody, Meridian, is indeed the same that "sat down at the time editor." Meridian is the most (at least I see him as) important character in the entire series. If it wasn't for him than the world Rhapsody, Achmed and Grunthor live in would be an entirely different place. Throughout the series you see tiny tid-bits of scenes where Meridian is editing time as your reading about the Three. Once you read Rhapsody through Destiny, you will understand (if you haven't already).

Thank you so much!!!!  I will have to make sure I watch for instances of him editing time now that I have my books and will be starting over - I had only read Rhapsody when I started searching to find out if there were others. Then i found this wonderful place!! I was confused because it is spelled with an "O" in the book but yours was spelled with an "A"  so I wanted to make sure there were not two of them for me to watch for.

Looks like I have to edit that than! Thanks for catching it for me!
